Gyeongbokgung Palace

Spent a lovely Sunday afternoon in Gyeongbokgung Palace with friends. Inside, with a beautiful view of the Korean landscape, you almost forget that you're still in Seoul. It's like walking back in time!

There is also a nice Museum inside the palace walls, full of historical Korean artifacts.

Catholic University's Junior Winter Camp

Taught at an English winter camp in Seoul for three weeks. The students were smart and individually possessed very endearing personalities. Though sometimes it was challenging, I'd say that this was one of the best and most memorable experiences I've had in Korea so far.

Hiroshima, Japan

I haven't posted in a while -_- Now, for a major update! Glenn and I took our first trip to Hiroshima, Japan in late January by way of an inexpensive ferry from Busan, Korea.

Hiroshima is beautiful. Went bike riding around the city, visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, and ate some delicious okonomiyaki. Because of this trip, I am more determined than ever to learn the Japanese language, its culture and art. I definitely plan on making more trips to Japan every chance I get. There are so many cities I want to spend time in. Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, etc!
